Position Summary: 

Incumbent functions as a lead and specialist, knowledgeable in GI supplies and equipment; providing purchasing and inventory management for CDDC. Builds working relationships with vendors and product suppliers, seeking opportunities for cost reduction and coordinates in-services. Collaborates with central supply to centralize supplies within CDDC. Ensures the quality/accuracy of financial coding and tracking for expenditures. Duties include maintaining PAR levels, distributing and stocking all procedure rooms, manages purchase requisitions and generates and analyzes monthly reports on supply usage and PAR levels. Facilitates equipment management, including the tracking of all equipment preventative maintenance and scope repairs.

 

Salary Range: 

 

Rate    Minimum  $22.70   Midpoint  $30.05   Maximum  $37.40

 

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of three years of demonstrated administrative experience using database software, providing data entry, and generating reports

Ability or prioritize and manage multiple assignments while successfully adhering to established deadlines

Ability to analyze and summarize data and reports and develop recommendations

Ability to coordinate and resolve issues in a timely manner

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Bachelor’s degree with a major in business administration, economics, statistics, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated ability to create and produce complex reports using computer programs such as Excel, Access, Word, and Powerpoint

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills sufficient to identify needs, conduct research and develop innovative proposals, solutions, and programs

Demonstrated work experience in progressively more complex roles related to data analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in progressively more complex analytical/support roles within a healthcare unit

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience monitoring budgets and expenses

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Knowledge of gastroenterology supplies and procedures
