Position Summary:
Incumbent provides administrative and organizational support to the department as requested. Coordinates meeting management and calendars. Gathers data and prepares reports. Performs general office responsibilities of supply and equipment inventory, facilities, and purchase order process. Serves as a resource to staff and management of all levels on matters related to divisional operations and activities.
Salary Range:
Rate Minimum $23.24 Midpoint $28.28 Maximum $33.31
Required Qualifications:
Ability to appropriately deal with stressful situations and individuals while remaining calm and professional
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem
Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize daily responsibilities
Demonstrated experience and good working knowledge of MS Office Word, Outlook & Excel
Demonstrated experience using a computer, including data entry and retrieval
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Must be highly organized and able to multi-task
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Must have a minimum 3 years prior experience in an administrative support role/setting
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
